- A social media bad-ass who is savvy and experienced with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and the next newest social channel
- Experienced creating polished videos for Reels and Tik Tok or are capable of learning and adapting quickly to PBS methods
- Able to write well-written and engaging content for social posts while also fully embodying the brand’s voice and strategy
- Self-motivated, fun, passionate and looking to work in a trailblazing industry
- A dreamer and a doer that is not only creative but can get sh!t done efficiently
- Able to meet deadlines consistently and supports teammates in doing so
- A meticulously organized freak in the spreadsheets
- Knowledgeable about cannabis and wellness culture or excited about learning from our team
- Upbeat and positive, emotionally mature and grounded
- Have a degree in Journalism, Communications, PR, or Marketing
- Have experience in the cannabis industry, specifically in marketing or social media
- Understand legal aspects of social media management and content creation within the cannabis space (e.g. copyright, contest rules, etc.)
- Currently operate on iOS and iPhone 12 Pro
- Have working knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc)
- Learn quickly or already understand how to use organizational tools such G-Suite, Basecamp and Later.com
- Develop a solid understanding of the client’s product or service and fully embody the brand voice
- Create and manage social media strategy via content calendars in partnership with the leadership team

Job Requirements:

- Manage and schedule content to ensure that posts go live, look polished, and are reposted where appropriate
- Share community created content where appropriate
- Engage in daily community management of likes, shares, comments, and direct messages across all social sets
- Respond quickly and professionally, when it makes sense, to customers/clients
- Resolve consumer questions by working with the leadership team and the client
- Identify brand advocates and work closely with the PBS Community Outreach Coordinator to build brand awareness & loyalty within the community
- Engages in daily targeted engagement practices
- Creates or collaborates with creators on edited IG Reels/TikTok videos
- Communicates effectively and anticipates content needs
- Executes monthly giveaways
- Prepare reports on social media performance, customer sentiment, and social KPIs in partnership with the leadership team
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices.
- Weekly and monthly check-in meetings with leadership team to assess, give feedback on performance, learn and grow together
90 Day Probationary Period
- $20 / hour
- 30 - 40 hours a week based on account needs
Post 90 Day Probationary Period
- $25 / hour - increase based on performance during 90 day trial period.
- 30 - 40 hours a week based on account needs.
- 5% commission paid monthly to anyone who brings in new accounts that result in billed monthly recurring services. Paid for the duration of contractual agreement with PBS
