Sol Flower is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter with a solution mindset to fill the role as a Patient Advocate at our dispensary. The Patient Advocate provides outstanding customer service while assessing the needs of each patient to help them choose the best products for their ailment(s). The right candidate will be a lifelong learner who is passionate about improving the lives of others through education. Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work in a team setting.
Duties
Job Requirements:

- Greet all patients when entering the dispensary with compassion and professionalism.
- Check patient’s state allowance with Arizona Department of Health Services Verification System.
- Accurately enter patient information into our database system.
- Provide exceptional customer service and process transactions.
- Quickly and precisely handle cash and debit transactions while always maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Listen with the intent to understand to make appropriate product recommendations.
- Possess excellent mathematical skills.
- Clean, stock, and organize dispensary.
- Conduct inventory counts of all dispensary products as needed by inventory management.
- Work cohesively as part of family/team environment. Occasionally work on special projects and assignments designated by management.
- Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
- Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their ailments.
- Verify patient's allotment and ensure they are eligible to make purchasing using the state system.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed.
- Adheres to all Medical Cannabis laws.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
There are also a number of qualities to expect from a candidate to flourish in a Patient Advocate role:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check (no felony convictions)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of retail and/or customer facing experience. Cannabis Experience Preferred.
- Product Knowledge; must be familiar with the variety of methods used
