Join our team at BLAZE and help shape the future of the Cannabis Industry. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with Agile experience. You need to be able to move and scale fast with our company and love moving at the pace of a startup.
As our SaaS Product Manager, your product is a BLAZE product that continues to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations while outpacing the competition with key differentiating features. You will work directly with our Chief Product Officer and the development team to meet this goal and measure it through KPIs that you deem critical to your success.
This is a primarily remote work position, but we are seeking a candidate that is in driving distance of our Newport Beach, CA office or in the Temecula area. We will have meetings 2-3 times per month in the office.

Oversees new products from their conception to launch, along with each new iteration, this includes go to market strategy and execution of the GTM strategy.

Build product requirements for new products and features and communicate them to the design and development teams

Work closely with design and UX teams to mock up and test new features to ensure viability prior to handing off to development

Perform market research on our competitors

Own the roadmap for product features

Own the product roadmap for all products under the BLAZE Wholesale umbrella, ensure seamless product functionality, decide on backlog prioritization, and take the product vision towards completion.

Acts as a primary stakeholder
Job Requirements:

Perform discoveries with customers to solve business problems and convert high value ones into requirements and new features.

Follow the agile development process leading to a successful release of product features

Runs regularly scheduled business reviews for product features.

Define, monitor, and reports on product KPIs to ensure continued improvement in all areas.

Learn new technologies to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

3+ years experience in SaaS Product Management
-
3-5 years experience enterprise software product management experience for a related product in ERP, Manufacturing, or Inventory Management.

Experience in creating and executing Go To Market strategies for new product, features, and markets.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principals, reporting, and concepts such as COGs through an assembly process.

A technical degree and/or demonstrated technical knowledge, including a full understanding of the definition and function of APIs, n-tier architectures, services-at-scale, etc

Must have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies

Working knowledge of software development life cycle and architecture

Demonstrated success in managing long term projects that are iterative in nature

Experience in “continuous improvement” work environments
