Job Description:
- Manages the sourcing and purchasing of wholesale cannabis products and accessories to supplement Insa offerings, maintain menu variety, and ensure consistent availability of product
- Establishes, maintains, and expands relationships with wholesale suppliers to supplement menus and ensure competitive offerings for consumers; troubleshoots issues with partners on quality, packaging and barcodes, and sales performance
- Performs analysis of market trends and competitor offerings to inform product selection, pricing, and sales performance to maximize profitability through margin and revenue analysis; provides periodic reports to company stakeholders
- Performs analysis of customer suggestions and purchasing patterns through feedback from Call Center and Retail departments
- Coordinates with wholesale partners to obtain up to date product information to inform Marketing and promotional initiatives, menu updates, and planograms; arranges in-store demonstrations
- Coordinates with the Training and Education Coordinator to create QSGs and other staff training materials
- Stays abreast of regulatory changes that affect Retail sales
- Up to 50% travel to wholesale partners within Massachusetts expected
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5 - 8 years of experience with high volume retail buying required
- 1 – 3 of customer service experience required
- Expertise with Excel required, including pivot tables
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations
- Sitting, standing, and walking for several hours at a time
- Ability to travel by car frequently
- Close visual acuity needed to read and write documents on a computer screen
- Manual dexterity
