Job Description:
NuLeaf is looking for an experienced receptionist with strong customer service skills and an interest in cannabis.
Prospective applicants need not be experts on marijuana- we are confident we can help you in this respect. However, applicants must be outgoing, upbeat, kind, and have a passion for helping people.

· Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, vendors, and visitors
· Receive and greet guests for in store purchases
· Check and verify customers' IDs for legal age and validity
· Answering telephone calls, emails, and general customer inquiries
· Cleaning during your scheduled shift
· Follow all health, safety and sanitation regulations
· Comply with dress code requirements
· Must be punctual and present for all scheduled shifts
· Follow NuLeaf Safety Code of Conduct
· Follow NuLeaf Emergency Action Plan in the event of an emergency
· Perform other duties as assigned
· A High School Diploma or GED
· A minimum of two years of reception experience
· Demonstrated ability to flexibly engage with a diverse customer base, using skills in active listening and verbal communication to identify and resolve customer issues
· Demonstrated ability to multi-task with attention to detail and remain focused in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment
· Demonstrated ability to maintain productivity between periods of high and low activity
· Demonstrated ability to remain calm and steady during periods of high stress or unusual events
· Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp operating policies and procedures,
Job Requirements:

· Previous experience in the cannabis industry a plus
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written
· Strong reading comprehension
· Knowledge of basic math calculations
· Knowledge of basic computer functions (PC platform, email, MS Office suite, POS system)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to focus
· Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
· Ability to adapt and change job tasks according to business demands
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
· Ability to work accurately and efficiently while adhering to all company policies
· Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace, bilingual skills a plus
· Ability to work scheduled shifts and arrive for work on time; be punctual and present
· Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
· Must pass a background check
· Ability to wear a mask and gloves from 8-10 hrs per shift
· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
· Ability to sit and or stand for periods up to four hours at a time
· No cannabis allergies
· This is an hourly, non-exempt position
