You will work closely with the engineering and project team to help clarify requirements, create and execute test cases and ensure application reliability. We are looking for someone who is quick on their feet, can change focus at a moments notice and an overall team player.
Testing
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Plan and create test data required for testing.
- Report detailed defects in the Defect tracking tool, Jira.
- Perform mobile device functional testing.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time appropriately.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and observational skills with attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
- Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders, developers, PO’s and SME’s.
- Ensure communication with QA team, passing on new findings, including documenting findings in Jira and Test Rail.
- Proactive, team-oriented, collaborative, thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; ability to deliver positive and negative feedback effectively to a variety of audiences with sensitivity and confidentiality.
Experience
Job Requirements:
with web application testing. Strong knowledge and experience in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), both Agile and waterfall methodology.
- 1+ year experience testing SAAS software.
- 2+ years minimum experience with manual testing.
- 1+ year direct experience testing mobile applications.
- Excellent written communication skills, especially in the English language.
- Experience using JIRA for requirements management and defect tracking.
- Experience using TestRail for Test Case documentation and coverage.
- Automation experience is a plus.
