The Propagation Technician is responsible for performing all day-to-day cultivation tasks and maintenance activities in the propagation facility. The Propagation Technician reports to team leads and the Propagation Nursery Manager, executes daily task plans set by management, maintains a clean, healthy, and safe work environment, and ensures the Company’s quality standards are met. Tasks include: cutting clones, pruning, transplanting, germinating, watering, spraying, cleaning, washing pots and tables, and sanitizing the facility.

- Taking sets of instructions from management and executing properly
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Meeting work deadlines set by management and team leads
- Sorting and organizing supplies
- Consolidating and prepping inventory for delivery
- Adhering to all SOPs provided by team leads and management
- Cleaning and sanitizing facility (grow rooms, offices, bathrooms, storage, etc.)
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Cannabis / Agricultural experience a plus
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts
- The employee is frequently exposed to herbal aromas, dust, and/or airborne particles
- The employee occasionally works in high places
- Work is performed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
- Ability to work in high/low temperatures and in high levels of humidity
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products
- Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods, perform a repetitive motion with scissors
