We’re looking for an energetic Project Manager to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will oversee and ensure the implementation of product from concept through launch. This role requires project management and leadership skills, demonstrated by the ability to influence and lead within a rapidly evolving and cross-functional environment. Job Requirements:
and track product development process: set up project scope, timing, milestones, and deliverables for all active programs.
- Track individual timing and overlap of all elements within product development: initial concept, packaging selection, formulation, R&D, sourcing, compliance, artwork.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to kick off the artwork process. Help create initial artwork brief with working copy and hierarchy of messaging.
- Work with product development team/compliance to finalize copy and claims for all new launches.
- Work with the product development team to set up Product Fact Sheets and Production Guidelines. Help streamline communication with all departments about new launches and changes to ongoing development.
- Work with PD to help execute ongoing short-term development: new strain labels for existing product lines.
- Track and manage BOMs to ensure all components and packaging arrive in time for production start dates. Update BOM’s with COGS when available.
- Support team in research on competitive landscape and analysis – Product & Pricing.
- Partner with the team to identify benchmark products for all new launches.
- Work with the product development & Cannabis team to create product and strain copy.
- Work with product development & R&D to ensure components have been quality controlled to fit the product.
- Track development updates to ensure all commercialization milestones are met to keep programs on track.
- Help track and organize vendor touchpoints of new development: collect die lines, physical samples, and quotes. Organize in a clear way to enable seamless product development.
- Organize a competitive packaging library and come up with a filing system to make everything easily accessible.
