Job Description:
Eden Enterprises (“Eden” or the “Company”) is a vertically integrated cannabis and hemp company with expanding interests in retail, cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and intellectual property. Eden Enterprises hosts a number of operations comprising
Provide project management and administrative support to Eden’s hemp program, including but not limited to operations at Terpene Belt Farms and Terpene Belt Processing.
Manage ISO 9001 certification internal compliance, documentation and recordkeeping.
Provide management support for additional ISO and other certification processes sought by the Company.
Manage reporting to Department of Food and Agriculture pursuant to hemp regulatory requirements at the direction of the Legal and Compliance Department.
Prepare documentation and records for County hemp compliance at the direction of the Legal and Compliance Department.
Create Excel spreadsheets for tracking hemp cultivation deadlines and regulatory paperwork.
Maintain a calendar of all applicable regulatory deadlines.
Attend regulatory meetings, take notes, and provide summaries to the Legal and Compliance Department.
Maintain organizational system for hemp program document control.
Provide research assistance and prepare basic research summaries for various local, state, and international hemp-related issues.
Correspond with, and provide scheduling for, various stakeholders including partner farms, vendors, regulators, agencies, and others.
Provide administrative and organizational support for hemp-related work from the Legal and Compliance Department.
Provide administrative support to the hemp program directors - Director of Cultivation and Director of R&D.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
2-3 years project management experience
Job Requirements:
(certification in project management highly preferred, not required).
1-2 years administrative experience
1-2 years research experience
Proficiency with computer office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Suite, Slack, etc.) is required.
Ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment and prioritize tasks to meet company goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized.
Background in hemp or general agriculture desired.
Desired experience with ISO and GMP certification processes.
Must be willing to travel frequently between project sites in Byron, Union City, and Oakland.
