Job Description:

Ensuring and coordinating all payroll and monthly reporting functions; develop customized reports as it relates to payroll.

Reviewing, testing, and modifying processes, training materials, and reporting; managing period system upgrading and overseeing the planning, testing, configuration, and adoption of new functionality.

Developing and delivering value through service and performance excellence, seeking continuous improvement and implementation of best practices.

Facilitating audits during the course of the year.

Serving as a change management leader, leveraging technology, tools, and best practices in the payroll function.

Assuring compliance and appropriate security and confidentiality for the organization and employees, complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Experience with 500+ employee payroll.

Experience with payroll systems implementation and administration.

Knowledge of current employment law practices and ability to effectively advocate for the correct methodology.

Proficient with payroll systems software and reporting.

Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Mathematical skill and attention to detail.
