Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Payroll Coordination - Process biweekly payroll for multiple company locations with accuracy. - Perform miscellaneous payroll tasks as needed including manual checks, benefit adjustments, PTO tracking and auditing, personnel changes, wage adjustments, garnishments, child support and liens etc. - Accurately enters and maintains all workers’ compensation codes. - Maintains knowledge of payroll processing system and changes in wage and tax laws. - Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees. - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll. - Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to manager. Benefit Coordination - Coordinate accurate and timely enrollments for company benefit offerings including health, dental, life and retirement plans and communicate with service providers concerning routine administration. - Record and audit benefit deductions within the payroll system - Monitor and reconcile benefit provider billing statements - High School Diploma or GED required - Must be able to obtain appropriate cannabis licensing cards - Must have general knowledge and understanding of federal and state employment related laws - Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to process data among multiple spreadsheets - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll and benefit coordination Dedicated to each other, to hard work, and to growing & producing the finest, most consistent cannabis products available today.
