Packaging Manager

As our Packaging Manager, you will oversee the packaging department and be responsible for compliance and consistency as well as managing the packaging agents. - Responsible for day to day operations and performance of the packaging department - Maintains inventory levels and production standards - Collaborates with sales department to ensure orders are properly fulfilled - Oversees inventory, updates inventory levels as needed to reflect sales - Recognizes areas of opportunity that improve Safety, Product Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Employee Moral (Lean Manufacturing) - Works with operations to ensure all KPIs are being met or exceeded - Coach the production team to establish performance measures to achieve designated objectives and deliver business results - Responsible for managing employee records (write ups, time off requests) - Creation of compliance labels from METRC software - Ability to work collaboratively and partner cross-functionally - Prior knowledge of the Cannabis plant - Proficient Microsoft Office skills with a heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint - Background with ERP systems in relation to forecast planning and supply chain metrics - Superior communication skills and attention to detail - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience - 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment - 3 years of management or leadership experience - Prior experience managing a team of 20+ individuals - Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs - Ability to work in a sometimes physically demanding environment for 10-12 hour shifts - Must be at least 21 years of age - Must pass a comprehensive background check annually to ensure compliance within Cannabis Control Commission and Revolutionary
