Maintain and display plant materials with fresh appearance and fully stocked displays. - Ensure plant materials and displays are watered, fertilized, pruned, appropriately spaced, condensed and rotated appropriately, with care, to keep materials healthy and fresh. - Water and fertilize plant materials with thoughtful expertise and care - Assist in protection of plant materials from elements - Propagation of plant material - Production of annuals and perennials - Maintain fountains - Receive, unload, unpack, price, and display merchandise, including trees and shrubs, as needed - Provide customers with the highest quality products available - Greet customers in a courteous, friendly manner (in person and on the phone) - Inform customers of weekly specials and sales - Provide general cultural care and basic garden design advice to customers - Maintain and clean production areas - Other duties requested by manager
