Job Description:
The Inventory Control Manager handles all aspects of Florida's product intake and distribution and develops a comprehensive inventory tracking system to streamline our business. The main responsibilities of this position include meeting inventory goals, managing tracking systems, acting as a liaison to other departments, and ensuring product compliance by communicating with upstream and downstream teams. The successful candidate will offer recommendations to streamline processes, interface with retail centers, ensure product compliance, and ensure ideal levels of inventory in the stores and distribution centers.

- Ensure accurate product inventory for all locations supported
- Ensure accurate product labeling, counts, and fill as a final check prior to distribution
- Maintain the purchase order tracker while collaborating with the Procurement team
- Conduct root cause analysis in the event of any inventory issues in the system
- Develop an inventory tracking system to streamline our business operations
- Work daily with the Warehouse Manager about current stock levels and potential

- Work to reconcile store questions and issues about inventory and manage outages
- Report on inventory activities and variances
- Assess new inventory to ensure it is ready for shipping or delivery
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
- Develop systems to streamline the supply chain production to sale process
- Oversee and backfill gaps in warehouse, distribution center and inventory operations where needed
- Establish and maintain shipping notification process for customers supported
- 5 years' experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures
- 3 years' supervisory experience required
- Prior experience with cannabis and cannabis compliance, distribution and inventory a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- In-depth understanding of distribution workplaces
- Inventory training an asset
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
