The Logistics, and Transportation Coordinator driver will be responsible for transportation of packaged flower, and other materials from and between Central Coast Agriculture properties and to Mega Campus. The logistics, and transportation coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating other distribution activities between CCA properties as well as to customers. The logistics, and transportation coordinator will report directly to the Cultivation Warehouse Supervisor, and/or Packing/Warehouse Manager.

Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate multiple delivery vehicles including Semi-Trucks

Follow routes and time schedules.

Complete logs and reports when needed, including managing the delivery and sales order modules within Sage X3.

Provide excellent customer service.

Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.

Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.

Use GPS to determine and track daily routes.

Maintains ongoing communication with direct supervisor.

timely manner that meet CCA specifications.

Verify inventory matches manifest (accompanying shipping document).

Communicate with multiple departments regarding timing and shipping logistics during peak seasons

Review deliveries with customers.

Obtain delivery confirmation from each customer.

Verify all deliveries match the assigned route for the day.

Provide all necessary documentation to the customer and obtain all required signatures.

Verify the order is accurate in the customer’s presence.

Follow all safety training protocols and procedures.

Unload products in and out of the vehicle as needed throughout the day.

Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift.

Always keep the vehicle organized, clean and tidy.

Coordinate other driver’s whereabouts, routing, and overall daily activity.

Ensure truck(s) are in safe working condition and ensure all necessary repairs are up to date. Driver is to be in full communication with the facilities department when reporting the current condition of the truck(s).

Perform all other duties as assigned or inherent to the position which includes being available to work some weekends and evening shifts.

Experience with driving tractor trailers.

Have a class A driver’s license.

Beginner/Intermediate/Expert user of Microsoft Office, Google’s G suite, Asana.

Proficient with warehouse equipment, i.e., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Experience building and refining processes, as the company grows.

High School or equivalent education.

Forklift Certification

Do well under pressure and must be able to meet deadlines.
