Job Description:
$23.18 - $40.34 Hourly
$48,223 - $83,908 Annually
This position is a Pay Band 80
Interviews will be conducted within two (2) weeks of job advertisement close date.
This job exists to oversee licensing activities from the Cannabis Control Division. This position will assist the licensing staff as questions arise and will determine how to improve the licensing process.
This job requires the supervision of the licensing team, handling cases that are escalated by licensing staff, and making determinations on how to move forward with licensing applications.
The job is done for applicants for licenses including first time applicants as well as applicants re-applying for licenses.
Preferred applicant has experience leading a team, working on licensing and/or compliance related issues, experience in the cannabis industry, and an educational background in business operations.
A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements.

The successful applicant will be required to successfully pass a background check and maintain a valid Driver's License.
