Positions are now available in a newly licensed Merrimack Valley Massachusetts Iso-17025 accredited cannabis testing lab for qualified intelligent , energetic, and enthusiastic candidates The work entails performing advanced testing methods per internally developed and validated Standard Operating Procedures. Test and analyze 15 Cannabinoids , THC,CBD, Residual Solvents, Terpenes, Heavy Metals, Microbiology Pathogens, Pesticides, and Moisture utilizing GC-MS, HPLC, AAGF, ELISA , LC-MS –MS, ICP-MS and Plate Culture methods. These are highly complex analytical procedures running both automated and manual instruments. The Lab Scientist/Analyst will be responsible for sample intakes, extractions, preparations, and processing of cannabis derived product tests. You will be trained to run many various new instrumental methods, prepare calibrations, maintain instruments, obtain data, enter logs, prepare solutions, as well as various other tasks required to obtain a final test report and operate a testing lab. Full Training is provided at all levels The candidate must be able to pass a Massachusetts CCC background check prior to employment. This position is available to AS, BS or MS degree in Bioengineering, Physical Science, Chemistry, Life Science, Biotechnology or Biology with related lab experience. Cannabis testing lab experience or past lab experience utilizing GC-MS, HPLC, ICP-MS or AAGF is ideal.
