Job Description:
- Ensure the Intake area is clean and well-organized.
- Input sample data and paperwork into LIMS and seed-to-sale system.
- Photograph samples and products.
- Prepare samples for laboratory processing.
- Good laboratory technique to avoid cross-contamination or misidentified samples.
- Maintain physical and electronic records. This department oversees strict recordkeeping of all equipment, chemical, and plant materials used in the laboratory.
- Appropriately store equipment and supplies. This includes, but is not limited to, waste management and disposal, cleaning working areas, and ensuring storage rooms are well organized and clean.
- Monitor inventory and supplies. Sterilize items as needed.
- Promote a strong customer service culture while adhering to the highest safety and industry standards, including those that are outlined by the Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC).
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Ability to maintain an incredibly high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong agility, engagement, and flexibility in an ever-changing environment.
- Working knowledge of logging, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline driven environment while successfully managing multiple tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Working knowledge of standard laboratory protocol.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work, problem solve, and communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
- Required: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred: One (1) year of college chemistry or laboratory experience, or one (1) year of analytical laboratory experience or one (1) year working in a fast paced regulated environment.

Knowledge of principles, terminology, practices, techniques, and instrumentation commonly used in a laboratory setting.
