Job Description:

This position will have responsibility for inventory control and purchasing. This person needs to ensure inventory optimization and accuracy by strategic planning, detailed record-keeping, incoming/outgoing shipment monitoring & management, cycle count, and audit. This person also needs to plan and manage all purchases by analyzing/forecasting/calculating necessary data/information and effectively communicating with upper management, other departments, and vendors to meet operation goals. - Responsible for the accurate and timely sales order entry & fulfillment in the system. Will utilize an ERP system to track and maintain accurate inventory levels and value by keeping good records and correctly processing orders, shipping, receiving, allocation, transfer, returns, adjustments, etc. - Prepare and controls all inventory and supplies procurements to meet the needs of business operations. Match vendor bills to PO and shipping receipts to ensure accuracy. - Constantly monitor inventory levels & aging, plan and perform cycle count & inventory audits. Investigate and identify the root cause of deviations and generate corrective actions and/or plans. Identify slow-moving and soon-expiring inventory and recommends actions to address. - Study and analyze sales data/forecast, inventory information, and vendor production schedule lead time to establish desired and safe inventory levels. - Periodically collaborate with management, operations, accounting to make purchase plans and achieve optima inventory level & maximum inventory turnover. - Work closely with accounting, create, and develop inventory reports and/or financial performance on the quarterly/annual inventory targets to improve working capital and cash flow and minimize obsolete products and overstock. - Communicates

effectively with vendors to resolve problems regarding delivery, quality, packaging, price, or sales conditions. - Coordinate with all shipping companies to ensure smoothly incoming/outgoing flow. - Create and improve inventory control policies and procedures. - This position is also expected to support the overall operation when needed. Certain tasks may be asked that do not fall into the essential functions of this job. - 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in the supply chain, accounting, or related business major. - 3-5 years of professional experience in inventory control, purchasing, and/or related supply chain operations. - Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. - Must have experience in ERP systems; Netsuite is a plus. - Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. - Excellent organizational and planning skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Profound multitasking and learning skills. - Extreme attention to detail. - Initiative, independent, and strong work ethic. - Must be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. - Must be a team player.
