Job Description:
The Inventory Associate is responsible for organizing, maintaining and reporting inventory of all products for a busy retail cannabis dispensary. Our ideal candidate for this position is someone detail oriented, well organized and accountable. The Inventory Associate works closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure accuracy of all inventory audits and cycle counts. Responsible for controlling access to inventory storage areas and work spaces. Responsible for cleanliness and organization of all inventory work areas. Responsible for transferring product to the front of house for sale.
- Inventory Control
- Cycle Counting and Auditing
- Accurate accounting and tracking of all inventory transactions
- Facilitate restocking and accounting of Retail Floor
- Apply POS stickers to packages
- Keep Inventory work areas clean and organized
- Report to Inventory Manager
- Other tasks assigned by Management Team
- Full store counts at end of each month (Late Nights once a month)
- Transfer product from the vault to the floor for sale
- Experience in Retail Cannabis Inventory preferred
- Experience with Metrc platform preferred
- Knowledge of current cannabis compliance regulations
- Strong attention to detail and follow through
- Strong math and and data entry skills
- Experience with Cannabis Retail POS systems
- Must be able/willing to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening and holiday shifts
- Requires extended periods of standing
- Requires bending and reaching into inventory storage bins
- Requires twisting
- Requires lifting 30-50 lbs.
- Other duties assigned by the Management Team
