Job Description:

- Minimum of 21 years of age. - Possess valid driver’s license or state ID. - Must pass all required background checks. - Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. - Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. - Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements - Handle all administration of benefit plans including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance plans and coordinate annual open enrollment - Be a back-up for bi-weekly payroll processing - Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or finalized company policies - Write and revise job descriptions as needed - Respond to Unemployment claims - Work with Human Resources Assistant on new employee recruiting, onboarding, electronic record retention, and badging process including renewal badging. - Conduct all new hire orientations and various training with Human Resources Assistant - Maintain performance management processes - Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies. - Assist with employee relations conversations and investigations when needed - Maintain employee personnel records - Oversee and spearhead positional training for each role and document appropriately for compliance - Keep leave of absence records and inform employees of information pertaining to their requested leaves - Work with other HR Team members on evolving COVID regulations - Respond to human resources-related inquiries - Other duties and tasks as assigned - Bachelor’s Degree required - 2-4 years of Human Resources experience with a heavy concentration in Benefit

Job Requirements:

administration required - Prior experience creating and rolling out training programs strongly preferred - Comfort speaking in front of large groups - Knowledge of labor laws as well as state and federal regulations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must possess excellent organizational skills - Comfortable handling confidential information - Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, Google G-Suite, etc) - A passion for the industry and Solar’s mission
