Our core tenants: Human Resources Generalist is responsible for running the daily functions of the HR department including talent acquisition, onboarding, administering pay and benefits, enforcing company policies, and ensuring company culture stays strong and on course. - Help promote (Lux) culture, emphasizing quality, productivity, empowerment, employee retention, focusing on the health, happiness and safety of staff. - Update, suggest, and create general HR policies and procedures. - Moderate and monitor company internal communication platform -Slack. - Communicate Standard Operating Procedure across locations. - Resolve employee grievances and disputes, including investigations as needed. - Handles disciplinary matters and attends/participates in employee disciplinary meetings and terminations. - Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, announcements, memos, and disciplinary/coaching documents. - Maintain employee personnel files. - Onboard/offboard employees. - Administer and oversee Employee handbook. - Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings where relevant. - Administer employee benefits programs. - Administer payroll. - Oversee employee reviews. - Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and speak on behalf of the Lux when dealing with regulatory issues (FMLA, WSLCB, ADA, LNI, OLS, OCR, NLRB, ESD,
