Your job will be to provide support for the Human Resources Department by performing a variety of tasks. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support for HR executives and Payroll Specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a full spectrum of payroll and administrative support to the Human Resources Department
- Timely processing of unemployment, disability and workers compensation records
- Process wage garnishments, advances, union dues, benefit payments, leave of absences, retirement deductions, etc.
- Organize, compile and update company personnel records and documentation
- Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, transfers, leaves of absences, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Must keep all payroll and HR related information confidential, maintaining privacy for each and every employee
- Updating HRIS system with employee information changes such as job title changes, exemptions, deductions, benefit enrollments, EIN transfers, terminations, etc.
- Assist Payroll Specialist with timesheet adjustments and the processing of bi-weekly payroll utilizing HRIS/payroll system
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be highly dependable, focused, organized and detail-oriented possessing excellent time management and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention

- Computer Skills: must be able to work with software programs such as HRIS systems, Microsoft Excel and digital filing systems
- Ability to multitask as you will be juggling multiple payroll and administrative daily tasks and projects for many people at once
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to spend hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain
- Must have the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions
Must have the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
