Role and Responsibilities
The Harvest Team Lead reports directly to the Cultivation Supervisor and is responsible for all daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Works closely with harvest team in daily hands-on operations
- Leads by example.
- Assigns daily tasks for Harvest Technicians.
- Instructs Cultivation/Harvest Technicians and participates in cultivation operation procedures including cleaning flower rooms and dry rooms
- Maintains inventory of all Harvest supplies
- Coordinates with the Cultivation Manager and the Cultivation Supervisor regarding harvest schedules and timelines
- Programs and monitors dry room environmental control system
- Maintains logs of environmental controls and conditions
- Implements policies and procedures for the Cultivation facility
- Executes and enforces compliance of all local and state regulations
- Maintains accountability of all Harvest Team members, in relation to specific job descriptions
- Upholds all company policies and procedures.
- Recruiting, interviewing and hiring Harvest Team agents.
- Making sure that all team members are current on product knowledge and can train their teams.
- Ensuring that cultivation is producing sufficient flowers to meet the needs of MIPs and extractions.
- Producing quality product free of pests and contaminants.
- Being a company brand ambassador and training team members to represent the brand appropriately.
- Following and implementing the company’s core values, including respect, diversity, sustainability, research and service.
- Ensuring that all team members are adhering to the company’s cultural principles.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services, preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills.
- Being able to work with a team.

- Being analytical.
- Being detail oriented.
- Being proactive.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day and rotating shifts;
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays;
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds;
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day;
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time;
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs;
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
- General office environment;
- Extended computer usage;
- Extended phone usage including teleconferences, and
- Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
