We are looking for a
Oversees plant growing activities by associate volunteers based on planned planting schedules
Monitors growing conditions and manage changes in humidity, moisture, temperature and other cultivation procedures
Is responsible for identifying crop issues and diagnosis of unknown health or damage problems
Maintains records of crop activities including growth, harvest, and replanting schedules
Insures all tasks are in compliance with corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety principles
Maintains greenhouse upkeep and helping to develop protocols for the associate volunteers
Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management
Provides hands-on support during any training sessions and tours
Familiar with different styles of hydroponic crop production
Comfortable handling and using agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, growing media, and pest control products
Experience with automated greenhouse environmental controls such as Priva, Argus, or Wadsworth an asset
Knowledgeable of modern IPM practices including monitoring and scouting, thresholds, and a variety control methods
Associates Degree in Horticulture or related field
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Greenhouse Growing
Displays personal drive, motivation and perseverance to identify and fill needs
Communicates effectively and ability to work closely with associates through oversight and training, and during tours, etc.

Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, reach with hands and arms, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, often lift up to 25 pounds, and constantly lift up to 10 pounds
Ability to see at close and distant ranges, as well as peripheral vision to notice safety hazards
