Job Description:
The South Farmer is responsible for a variety of farming duties. Such as gardening and the upkeep of all plants throughout the entire life cycle, as well as the rooms themselves that these plants are found in. The Franklin South Farmer will demonstrate superior communication and knowledge of all SOPs, while maintaining adequate attendance and positivity throughout their tenure with the company. The Franklin South Farmer is also expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
- Preparing and loading flower rooms.
- Ensuring the accurate scanning of METRC tags for newly loaded plants.
- Trellising tables and plants for proper growth.
- Building a canopy by spreading plants using trellis to optimize growth.
- Manicuring plants to maintain health and optimize yields.
- Harvesting mature plants.
- Cutting Clones
- Transplanting all plants in the facility.
- Transporting plants throughout the facility as directed.
- Manicuring clones, Mini Veg plants, Veg plants, and mother plants.
- Organizing and securing all METRC tags.
- Ensuring accurate and legible logging of a variety of paperwork, and labels.
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas, equipment, and material throughout the facility.
- Clear understanding of workflow throughout the facility.
- Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such as trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
- Maintain a culture of professionalism.
- Must work in a focused, quick, and efficient manner.
- Must be able to work completely by themselves.
- Must have acceptable attendance in the previous position.

- Maintain a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment.
- Keep doors closed when not in use.
- Wear protective clothing, hairnets, and beard nets, when working in areas with plants.
- Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
- These are nonexempt employees so they are directly supervised by the Franklin South Manager of Production.
- Also takes direction from Franklin South Grow Supervisor.
- This person does not supervise others.
- Three months trim experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a focused, quick, and efficient manner as both an individual and team contributor.
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction from the Growth Phase Supervisor and take responsibility for multiple assignments independently and with the team.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of professionalism.
- Demonstrated oral communication capabilities.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue (MED).
- Commitment of three months working the position before applying for other positions within the company.
