Job Description:
The Floor Manager has the integrity, work ethic, intelligence, knowledge, & commitment to oversee the operations of a cannabis dispensary facility. The Floor Manager will collaborate with and execute the vision and strategies put forth by the Executive Leadership Team and Dispensary General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct all day-to-day operations of the dispensary sales and distribution
- Design strategy and set financial goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies and processes aligned with organization goals and industry best practices
- Oversee all hiring, onboarding, discipline, termination, and development of employees
- Regularly train staff according to company guidelines, conduct performance reviews, and establish performance improvement plans
- Ensure the dispensary remains compliant with security, inventory and local and state regulations including effectively leading state inspectors through the facility
- Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer experience
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of both the patients and employees
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the current medical cannabis law and regulations, and communicate changes to staff and patients
- Manage financial records, point of sale operations, and cash handling tracking and procedures
- Work with cultivators to negotiate and procure an adequate supply of high-quality products
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee hiring and training of new employees
Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
