Job Description:

Innovate and formulate recipes for edible products Heating confections according to recipe specifications Using molds to create confection shapes and textures Upholding workplace to food safety standards Working with a team to meet quantity expectations and deadlines Ensures packaging process is done correctly Providing feedback on new products or recipe improvements Preparing, maintaining, and cleaning all equipment Maintain quality control over all ingredients for production of products Oversee preparation of gels; samples taken by the lab to determine CBD/THC content Oversee the completion of batch records Lead production efforts of edible products Ensure all processes are being followed Organized, methodical, strong steering, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis. Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research. Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system. Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times. Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products. Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required. Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age. Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail Effective time-management and ability to multi-task Able to demonstrate basic technical math skills,

Job Requirements:

basic grammar and technical writing skills Employee must have basic organizational capabilities, as well as be able to run basic computer tasks. Must be a multitasker, with the ability to work on several requests simultaneously without losing focus Organization and initiative, good communications skills, proactive, problem-solving, time management, discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes Teamwork- collaborating with others to improve overall standards of work and service Ability to easily use computers, and Microsoft office programs including MS Outlook, Word Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license 2 or 3 years of production and or kitchen line experience The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. {Must be able to individually lift up to 25 lbs}. Regular and predictable attendance is essential. Travel is not required but may be called upon if the company requires so.
