Job Description:
The Dispensary Manager is primarily responsible for the management, maintenance, and supervision of day-to-day retail operations activity of the dispensary location. They oversee all employees in the location and ensure daily business operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and state regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include training new employees, addressing patient and personnel complaints, managing inventory, and product and supply ordering. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
- Maintains a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Coordinates with the General Manager in performing all day-to-day operations according to the Green Goods and Vireo Health mission statements.
- Interfaces with vendors to coordinate purchase, delivery, and transfer of marijuana products, retail products, equipment and supplies.
- Performs tracking functions to account for inventory, ordering, accounts payable, logistics and deliveries, and sales. Assists the General Manager in analyzing data.
- Responsible for monitoring all transactions and cash within the retail store, including preparing bank deposits, counting drawers and safe, making change for registers, and performing record keeping duties related to all cash handling as necessary.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining all tech and building services to ensure the shop runs smoothly. This includes knowledge of security systems, POS systems, BioTrack, and the facility structure.
- Retains thorough and comprehensive knowledge of guest services, patient benefits, cannabis strains, sales, discounts and promotions, product pricing, HIPPA compliance, all functions of store operations, and acts as a resource for all staff members.

- Fulfills job duties of any position, as needed, to compensate for staffing shortages, meal or break times, higher than normal sales volume, or to support general operations.

- Excellent corporate communications skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Extensive experience in customer service.
- Ability to effectively resolve heightened interactions with patients and staff.
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT and technical support to correct them.
- High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to create and review data metrics.
