The AGM must have strong business acumen driving sales and KPIs by closely monitoring stores performance and ensuring goals are met. This role will provide leadership and direction to the sales team, demonstrating a customer focused, ethical and professional presence, while maintaining a focus on driving sales. The AGM must possess the skills to inspire, motivate and build strong teams and require an environment of engagement that enhances customer relationships and perception of the brand. - Participate in performance management and coaching of team members in partnership with GM and Human Resources. - Train and course-correct members of the team, and execute write-ups when necessary. - Track sales and KPIs, and report on store performance. - Create sales promotions, community outreach initiatives and new product launches. - Actively pursue brand and product knowledge, and ensure all members of the team are informed and coached through company and vendor provided tools and resources. - Manage staff incentive programs - Oversee cash management practices, verify till counts, investigate and report on discrepancies. - Promote and abide by all company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices. - Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office365, Trello, Quick Books Online, Gsuite, and other related apps. - Organized with attention to detail. - Analyze sales data, and develop targeted sales strategies using company provided tools - Work well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask. - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space. - Must be able to lift to 15
