Job Description:
The Director of Security is responsible for working with the internal shareholders and external customers to develop and manage security policies and procedures while implementing, administering, and revising those policies as needed. They are responsible for overseeing all security operations within the company facilities. The Director of Security should be a detail oriented leader with a passion for maintaining a safe and secure premium environment. This position oversees a team of security associates and 3rd party security contractors and maintains security equipment to ensure total compliance with internal SOPs and state regulations. - Establish physical security operations management across multiple sites
- Collaborate and design security systems including software and hardware for new construction, expansion and retrofit projects.
- Project management of multiple concurrent security system or installation projects.
- Subject Matter Expert for physical security system testing and acceptance and assuring operational readiness at project completion.
- Act as a point of contact for all security: including operational oversight and of monitoring video and access control through review of audit reports and security systems
- Perform inspection when needed and coordinate and adjustments with any third-party security vendors
- Oversee the development, revision, and implementation of the emergency response & business continuity plans for all company locations including development of plan, program documents, exercises, and training.
- Provide training specific for security agents prior to the security agent commencing job functions
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team and the Corporate Safety
Job Requirements:
Committee
- Serve as contract administrator for all first aid equipment at company locations including servicing, placement, and training
- Investigate and review onsite accidents and incidents and coordinate a response with other departments needed
- Identify potential risks to all company locations, its employees, guests, and assets through regular site visits, risk assessments, observations, and data analysis.
- Follow up with supervisors and operations staff to correct safety hazards.
- Monitor incident and injury data to identify trends and develop corrective actions; provide periodic reports to illustrate the effectiveness of safety initiatives and the overall impact to RWB.
- Develop written materials including safety reports, policies, newsletters, and toolboxes
- Lead effort to implement, monitor and maintain a product security program with our Brands organization, protecting product leaks and the theft of pre-release products.
- Partner with HR on all investigations
- Review and approve incident reports and other reports written by security agents prior to submitting to the executive management team?follow up with security agent if needed
- Maintain lists of agents authorized to access designated areas of the facilities, including cash and product storage vaults, surveillance and network equipment room, and other highly sensitive areas of the facilities
- Lead a working group to ensure the current policies and procedures are properly implemented, integrated, effective, and relevant to ensure the safety of agents and assets
- Ensure that all required background checks have been completed and documented prior to an agent performing job functions
- Ensure the agent is granted an appropriate level of access to the facility necessary to complete his/her job functions
- Conduct monthly security audits and ensure all cameras, access control and alarm
