Job Description:

- You have extensive procurement experience spanning sourcing and prospecting, evaluation of suitability, negotiation and deal terms and are rock solid on the principles of supply chain that optimize economic cost, investment, sustainability, quality and predictability of supply - You love a challenge and you love taking something nascent and imposing order - You have created a procurement department and have created and implemented procedures across the supply chain functions - You are a true team player, you own the result of your work but are willing to jump in and assist your teammates as necessary - You strive to be the best at what you do and who you are - You have integrity and put it into action - You are passionate, yet diplomatic, you can get your point across even when it’s a tough one in a way that can be heard - You are a data geek - You don’t leave things to chance and rely on your ability to “wing it.” Rather you’re calculated, prepared and take measured risks - You don’t play politics and office games to get ahead - You are a leader and have a way with people - You like to play on a winning team - Plan: - 10-15 year’s experience in procurement with growth from junior to senior level responsibility in CPG companies with at least 40M in revenue and 40+ SKUS - Master’s Degree in Business, supply chain or similar preferred - APICS or supply chain specific technical training a plus Experience in procurement for CPG a must, food preferred and cannabis a plus - A deep rolodex of existing industry contacts that can be leveraged to make immediate impact - Startup experience preferred but not required - A deep resume that demonstrates effectiveness in creating process where little to none exists with key wins on supply side optimization
