Director of Manufacturing Operations

The Director of Manufacturing will report to the COO and will lead our team toward our goal of becoming a national leader in the manufacture of Cannabis-infused edibles, topicals, and vape products. The ideal candidate will have recently worked at a large food manufacturer in a production leadership capacity. Ideally as the Plant Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Production Manager, or in some other senior leadership role. More junior leaders with large scale food manufacturing experience are welcome to apply and will be considered if they are on track to take on a bigger role. Job Responsibilities: Ensure operational excellence on a consistent basis by leading and supervising multiple production managers. Coordinate, lead, and supervise all activities within product manufacturing, including planning, organizing, and directing production activities. Ensure policies and procedures are effectively implemented to continually optimize the facility. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in a leadership position at a major food or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills- A world-class attitude- A passion to motivate, teach, and develop the talent around you- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions- High-level interpersonal skills- Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a positive demeanor- Willingness to work in the rapidly growing Cannabis Industry Benefits: Dental insurance Schedule: Work Location: One location
