Director of Engineering

Distributing $250 million worth of weed a year is a fairly complex technical problem - our software team plays a critical role in streamlining every aspect of our day-to-day operation as we scale to shipping $1B+ worth of cannabis products. As our engineering team grows significantly, we are looking for a capable Director of Engineering to help scale our technical product and organization. You will have the opportunity to build the tools that help shape the cannabis industry's supply chain from the ground up as it grows into a global economy. In addition, you will be able to lead and build a team that represents the best technological infrastructure for distributing cannabis products. - Set the direction and product roadmap that align with company goals to help scale our delivery volume. - Hire and manage top technical talent that has experience developing robust large-scale applications. - Foster culture for collaboration, communication, and ownership that fits our company values. - Develop scalable technical architecture for complex logistical problems that others can follow. - Leverage your experience leading technical teams to develop large-scale applications that drive customer demand for distributing products through Nabis. - Have a data-driven mindset for product development. - 5+ years experience in developing and debugging in React, Node JS, and GraphQL - Familiarity with PostgreSQL and AWS - Experiencing analytics products that help drive customer success. - Have worked in highly-regulated industries - Experience working at large-scale distribution and logistics companies like Amazon or Uber - Competitive Compensation - Equity in the company - Medical, dental, and vision insurance Nabis is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type: Full-time Salary:
