Job Description:
Lowell Farms Inc. - Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
- Set-up Desktop and laptop computers with appropriate company software such as Office 365 and install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date
- Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals
- Provide prompt initial response to all assigned service requests
- Monitor and troubleshoot system problems and complete remediation in a timely and efficient manner, focusing on root cause identification.
- Effectively use remote assistant tools, knowledge base articles, documentation, and other tools independently to diagnose and repair customer issues
- Provide customer with regular communication regarding status of repair/install including notification when repairs are complete
- Properly document procedures and changes to customer’s environment
- Partner with IT Manager to communicate new solutions and IT strategies
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Primary Help Desk Support for all Lowell Locations
- Set up and installation of all new computers

- Bachelor’s of Science in MIS or other relevant degree
- Minimum of 1-3 years of IT experience
- Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner
- Exceptionally organized with a high level of integrity
- Experience installing and replacing desktop and laptop components
- Able to read, understand and interpret technical documents relating to hardware and software
- Possess the desire to acquire skills concerning new technologies
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Experience working for Network Devices such as switches, routers and firewalls a plus
- Able to assemble and disassemble computer hardware
- Possess strong organizational skills and ability to fully document environments and procedures
- Experience with current OSX and iOS devices a plus
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing with various audiences
- Proficiency with SQL Server, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and prioritize workflow, which will differ from day to day
- Cannabis industry experience a plus
- Travel may be required
