Job Description:

As the Head of Delivery Operations you will work directly with our CEO to hire and manage a 4-person team of customer service reps, operations coordinators and route coordinators as well as 14 drivers which is quickly growing. We are looking for a builder who is comfortable moving fast, adapting to new information, prioritizing effectively. You will be responsible for growing the business and improving the existing delivery business. The Sr Delivery Manager will need to think creatively in growing the business, building strong partnerships inside and across the industry to better understand and capitalize on the potential market share. - Checking out drivers, - Scheduling drivers to cover next day shifts, - Adjusting routes and deliveries as customers edit order schedule, - Interviewing drivers, - Managing Onfleet routes (our routing software), - Counting cash - Compliance reviews - METRC compliance information storage. You are an effective prioritizer and adapt quickly to changing circumstances and unforeseen obstacles by knowing when to ask for help, when to reprioritize, and when to re-budget. What You'll Do: - Leading, coaching and supporting dispatch and delivery teams - Maintain and report on multiple key performance indicators related to safety, customer service, and productivity. - Interface with other departments to execute on new initiatives and issue resolution. - Investigate, report, and act on safety or customer service issues occurring in your region. - Oversee local procurement and interact with vendors including those providing trucks, repair, fuel, insurance,
