Job Description:
A Cultivation Quality Assurance is responsible for assuring quality cultivation production by performing audits, managing system improvements, and documentation. As the Cultivation Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility is up to sanitation standards, develop Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP) within cultivation facilities, and ensure quality consistency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure Quality Assurance regulatory compliance for the cultivation department, including Quality Control, internal and regulatory compliance.
· Write, implement, and train on SOPs for new procedures, critical equipment and processes and/or controls.
· Conduct inspections and audits of facilities, processes, internal controls, and training programs.
· Ensure quality plant health of grow rooms, flower production and cultivation facilities.
· Inspect plants and buds to assess quality and/or detect the presence of pest or disease.
· Conduct plant samples for inspection to identify pests or plant health issues.
· Tracking cultivation batches from propagation to harvest and communicating risk exposures.
· Proactively identify areas for improvement and conduct regular product inspections.
· Ensure all cannabis cultivated at the facility are properly tested in accordance with company procedures and guidelines and meet specifications prior to release.
· Research and develop a pest management program.
· Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, and corrective actions.
· Assists in the development and continuous improvement of quality systems to ensure adherence to company and state regulations.
· Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control points and preventive measures.

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor of Science degree or related field.
· 3 years minimum of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience.
· 1year minimum of manufacturing quality control experience is desired.
· Experience with QA measuring and testing equipment
· Experience with Analyzing information and strategic planning
· Knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards
· Working knowledge of quality system requirements
· Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management, and Analytics software
