Job Description:
As the Controller, you are responsible for day-to-day financial operations, preparing month-end closings, and financial forecasts.
As the Controller you will be expected to create the long-term financial plans and goals that complement the vision and strategic goals outlined by the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.
Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with your Executive Leadership Team to review and assist with placement of necessary resources, tools, and other assets throughout the facility.
While reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for all areas of accounting and financial reporting, including AP, AR, cash positions, revenue recognition, tax compliance, budgeting, audits, and any related policies and practices.

Roles and responsibilities include:
Manage, and if/when necessary, execute with your team any/all data entry, financial reporting follow-up, and timely execution of tasks.
Oversees completion of, and ensures compliance with, mandated financial reporting and regulatory requirements such as the annual audit, state controller's report, and state and federal tax reports working in partnership with external CPA firm.
Experience in leading teams to accomplish day-to-day accounting and financial responsibilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to articulate multiple options based on alignment to strategic goals.
