In addition to selling trusted products, we host a wide range of wellness and educational events to help our customers live a safe, healthy lifestyle. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Community Marketing Manager to support our family of 6 dispensaries across the IL market. This position will require travel within IL to events and dispensary locations, with the remainder of time spent at the home office. Residency in the Chicago, IL metro area is preferred. - Plan and execute various hyperlocal community-engagement initiatives and events to build brand awareness at all locations. - Serve as the expert on the local cannabis marketplace: anticipate consumer wants and needs, provide insight on the competitive landscape, maintain in-depth market knowledge, and report on emerging industry trends at a micro and macro level. - Develop and expand relationships with PR Agencies, local Chambers of Commerce, and other outlets to ensure accurate brand representation and exposure. - Represent Windy City professionally and favorably at various events and community engagement opportunities. - Manage our CRM system to drive brand loyalty and encourage repeat business, ensuring e-mail sends and posts follow a regular cadence. - Create or source original, engaging, and shareable content for various campaigns and platforms. - Works with senior staff to monitor success of all marketing initiatives and KPI’s. - Continually

Job Requirements:

improve how we use data to drive the business. - Partner with our Retail and Buying teams to execute upon and drive awareness toward planned promotions, merchandising, and discounts to create a superior customer experience. - Regularly engage at the dispensary level to obtain feedback and marketing collateral requests from the retail team. - Occasionally support our out-of-home efforts. - Ensure all marketing initiatives are compliant and adhere to state regulatory guidelines. - Frequently lifting, moving, carrying store inventory, weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally ascending/descending ladders or stairs. - Additional duties and tasks, as assigned. - Superior written and verbal communication skills. - Willingness and ability to travel within IL market is a primary expectation. - Reliable personal transportation is a must. - This role will be primarily based in the field. Remaining time will be spent working remotely from your home office. - A passion for cannabis that is translatable across a diverse group of ages, familiarity levels, and backgrounds. - Demonstrated experience creating, presenting, and adhering to budget and staffing proposals. - Self-starter who can take initiative and see projects to completion. - Adaptable and able to pivot in times of change. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. - Working knowledge LuxSci and Springbig platforms a plus. - Familiarity with IL Medical and Recreational Cannabis Program rules and regulations regarding dispensary operations a plus. - Ability to acquire a state credential by passing required background check and any other requirement listed. - 3-5 years of related experience in a marketing-focused position. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Must be 21+ years of age.
