Job Description:

- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization such as potential acquisitions and mergers, new ventures, and investor relations; - Direct the organization's total financial function from budgeting to performance reporting to forecasting; - Oversee relationships with the investment community; - Take a lead role and serve as a spokesperson in any future financial matter including but not limited to acquisition, merger, IPO, etc.; and - Utilize the Encompass Financial Module and provide Subject Matter Expert advice to the team responsible for the further development of the product. - A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or a related subject; MBA preferred; - Proven experience as CFO in a fast-growing B2B software company; - Demonstrated success in equity capital raises and in evaluating, executing, and integrating M&A targets; - In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices; - Exceptional organizational skills, communication, and leadership with or without chain of command authority; - A love of initiative, innovation, growth, and fast-pace; - An innate sense of what it takes to run a successful, fast-growing business; and - An understanding that financial and other administrative functions of a business do not drive the business, but instead empowers and facilitates its growth. - Like to say “no,” rather than explain how; - Have a default setting of caution, rather than a curiosity about what the future could hold; - Want to create a lot of heavy processes or any kind of anti-sales sentiment; - Are not wired for speed; - Don’t know how to be both appropriately assertive while being an extremely collaborative part of an executive team;
