Career Service Representative

Career Services Representative Position Description: The Career Services Representative (CSR) is key in developing relationships between CSC, its students, graduates, and employers within the cannabis industry. The CSR is responsible for the career development of students, including resume writing assistance, identifying job openings, and proving interview preparation, as well as the placement of graduates who have completed programs at Cleveland School of Cannabis. The CSR tracks the placement rates and manages placement documentation and third-party verification. The CSR reports to the Campus Director in coordination with the Career Service Director Qualifications: - One year of experience (minimum) in career services, placement, or HR Job Duties: - Assist students with resume writing - Develop and conduct workshops with students on interviewing, dressing for the job, communication with potential employers, etc. - Maintain job list and share positions with students - Track placement and collect verification documents - Generate internal placement reports, as needed - Report placement statistics to regulators on time - Meet (or exceed) minimum placement rates as required by regulators - Develop and maintain a network of employers - Develop and maintain a network of internship providers - Use social media effectively, such as LinkedIn - Conduct exit interviews with students - Build and maintain relationships with alumni - Survey employers for satisfaction with CSC graduates/analyze and share results - Work closely with admissions to create and/or participate in on-campus and off-campus events - Utilize Populi SIS effectively - Meet with potential partners to build relationships - Other duties as assigned Qualities: - Effective networking skills - Strong
