Job Description:
Poseidon Estate is a rapidly growing state-licensed cannabis cultivation facility in Oakland. We are looking to hire one motivated and trustworthy individual as full time Production Assistant. The Production Assistant is responsible for harvesting and trimming a variety of strains. As well as sorting and packing processed material. The Production Assistant is also responsible for cleaning and sterilizing equipment and work space; additional duties may be assigned.
- Follows and completes harvest, trim, and packaging plan per direction of the Production Manager.
- Learns harvest, trim, and packaging processes via in-person training from the Production Manager.
- Understands that harvest and trim production is timed and strive to achieve daily expected trim weights. There will be on going feedback on the quality and speed of the work.
- Maintain awareness of inventories of harvest and trim support supplies to include but not limited to gloves, isopropyl alcohol, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, and any other personal protection or production equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks and report any needs to the Production Manager.
- The ideal Production Assistant will be a critical thinker, detail oriented, excels in verbal communication. Professionalism must be maintained at all times..
- Must be 21 or over.
- Hours of operations are Tue - Sat. 10 am – 7pm. There will be opportunity for overtime.
- This is an entry level position. Poseidon Estate is looking for individuals who has passion and general knowledge of the cannabis industry; and looking to grow within the Cannabis industry.

- Ability to work at a rapid pace completing repetitive talks with minimal errors.
- Ability to complete repetitive motions for the duration of the work day, including bending of wrists, twisting, grabbing, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to sit for long period of time.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35-50 lbs.
