The Packaging Assistant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Ensuring production is performed by following standard operating procedures - Preparing room for efficient operation of filling and packaging: labeling, boxing, inventory counts etc. - Ability to work with and around other managers, supervisors, and employees in the facility - Attention to detail is essential, along with the proper handling of all product - Help monitor and manage packaging equipment, supplies and inventory - Perform a series of preventive and general maintenance tasks on production equipment, tools and facility - Weigh, count and store finished product, ensuring all pertinent information is recorded in logs - Accountable for weighing, labeling, packaging, and product logging cannabis flower and extract for accurate inventory control. - Responsible for proper use, safety, maintenance, and sanitation of designated equipment. - Processing finished product to desired company standards following quality control standards. - Supporting

Job Requirements:

new product lines and processing development as needed - Cleaning and maintaining all equipment, surfaces, and material. - Ensuring appropriate storage of products. - Participating in accurately weighing and packaging cannabis flower, flower containing products, as well as concentrates. - Ensuring that flower and concentrate products are processed, weighed, packaged/prepared by following standards of cleanliness and hygiene. - Cleaning work areas and surfaces in the packaging rooms to ensure a safe working environment. - Ability to adapt to change and possess a positive, professional attitude. - Keeping worksite organized and helping with duties for order fulfillment/shipment - Labeling packaged cannabis items appropriately and making sure tamper evident seals are adhered properly and to company standards - Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment in your work area - Must maintain communication with supervisors and co-workers - Must adhere to scheduled work hours (punctuality and attendance) Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the state of Arizona - Other duties as assigned - Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes - Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. regularly - Ability to stand on concrete floor for up to 8 hours a day - Must be at least 21 years old - Must be able to pass a AZDHS Background Screening - High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) - Degree in Biology, Horticulture, or Applied Science desirable, but not necessary - Excellent computer, mathematic, language, and reasoning skills - Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis required - Knowledge of container systems with soil and hydro, as well as an understanding
