Job Description:
The Kitchen Production Team Member reports to the Production and Kitchen Manager and is responsible for the daily production of Tryke medically infused edible products. This individual participates with the team of production team members to carry out day-to-day tasks including material prepping, cleaning, production, operating production equipment, and packaging production products. The team must produce edibles in accordance with the State regulations and Tryke standards.
- Work with the Edibles Manager and team to stay on track of daily production.
- Quickly prepare and accurately log prepped ingredients, rotate stations on the fly, and properly operate all equipment for production.
- Follow preset recipes and measure ingredients and products accurately so that optimal levels of production are met.
- Weigh, label, package, and log product for accurate inventory control.
- May assist with selecting and preparing equipment for extraction and distillation.
- May assist with operating extraction and distillation equipment and handling extraction gases winterizing, refining, distilling, and/or formulating final product.
- Responsible for kitchen sanitation and cleanliness. Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
- Maintain accountability of all raw materials, finished products, and by-products.
- Maintain records of product and inventory within Seed-To-Sale software system.
- Maintain safety equipment and records.
- Adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements while producing edibles.
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company.
- Report for work on all assigned workdays and report on time with a positive attendance record
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- High School
Job Requirements:
Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to obtain appropriate cannabis licensing cards.
- Experience in a field and/or operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures, preferable a regulated or retail field producing products for human consumption
Ability to communicate in both oral and written form, including giving (speaking and writing) and receiving (listening and reading) information, in a way that ensures messages are understood.
Work environment includes exposure to, but not limited to, pollen, allergens, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and stressful situations.
