We are a fast growing LA-based licensed cannabis start-up with some amazing projects in the works and are looking for experienced Distribution Team Lead. You have experience in the legal cannabis industry, picking & packing, making products (prerolls, etc) and creating METRC manifests. You will spend 60% of your time helping our Distro Team with things like packing, organizing, cleaning, inventory, receiving deliveries, etc. You'll have at least 1 year of experience trimming or have working knowledge of the cannabis industry. - Setting standards for Distro Team - Training and supporting staff - Pre-packaging and labeling cannabis for distribution - Making prerolls - Tracking inventory - Sometimes bucking and trimming - Cleaning and maintaining the facilities - At least 1 year experience in the cannabis industry - Must be accountable, proactive, a team player and possess strong attention to detail - Flexible schedule including as late as 7pm weekends, and holidays (this is rare and you will be given advanced notice) - Must be able to sit or stand for hours at a time - Must be able to lift/carry 30+ pounds - Must be 21+ years old Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: - Employee discount - Paid time off Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Night shift - On call - Weekends Supplemental Pay: - Bonus pay COVID-19 considerations: Experience: - METRC: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: - One location This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: - Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous - People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects - Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction - Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details
