Job Description:
Budtenders are the face of our business. The Budtender’s main purpose is to make our guests feel comfortable and safe while providing excellent customer service and knowledge of cannabis in a general sense as well as the products in the store.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Greet every customer within 5 seconds and check ID upon entry and during transaction
- Provide cannabis recommendation and education based on the customer’s preference and need
- Provide education on safe cannabis consumption and introduce new techniques and tools as requested
- Perform transactions using OMMPOS, applying discounts as appropriate
- Basic cash handling
- Self-education on anything and everything relating to the cannabis industry
(Strains, Cannabinoids, Terpenes, Consumption Technique, Products)
- Stay informed on product changes, store policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization around the store
- Keep up with daily back-stock and front-stock organization
- Notify management when store supplies needs to be re-ordered
- Update/maintain social media sites and customer rewards
- Attend bi-weekly mandatory team meetings
- Additional duties as assigned by a manager
- High School Diploma or equivalent, must have cannabis consumption experience
- OLCC marijuana workers permit
- Previous cannabis industry experience
- Metrc experience
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Food handlers permit
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
