The Brand Manager is responsible for the execution of brand strategy for PDG’s in-house brand(s). The role will include the development and execution of brand strategy, ensuring consistent brand image, creating sales & marketing campaigns, coordinating cross departmental communication and participating as a liaison between PDG and external agencies. The right candidate will be a creative brand champion who is passionate about building a world-class cannabis brand.
- Devise and execute marketing and brand building activities while ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage interdepartmental communication and marketing campaign flow from ideation through execution and data analytics.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and agency partners to select marketing activities that best support the brand strategy.

Job Requirements:

- Lead all packaging design with a focus on cost and brand standards.
- Create content and experiences for budtender education and consumer activation.
- Craft in-store merchandising guidelines for point-of-sale displays.
- Generate sales material to support the sales team and retail partners.
- Identify and execute guerilla marketing campaigns.
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, activations and demos/samples to assess against ROI and KPI goals.
- Minimum of 5 years-experience as a Brand Manager in the CPG, alcoholic beverage or cannabis industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Keen knowledge of cannabis products, trends and marketing best practices.
- Results driven with strong leaderships skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to work with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Cannabis experience is a plus.
