McGregors Greens is located in Mount Dora, Florida. We grow micro greens and culinary herbs year round in a 4 acre, hydroponic, computer controlled modern greenhouse.
We are looking for people who can work as a team with a PASSION for growing great plants.
Job Description:
All normal greenhouse growing activities like seeding, transplanting and harvesting, insect scouting, ability to spray mix and spray pesticides ( OMRI approved), soil and fertilizer mixing (must be able to lift 50lb bags), suggesting changes to work orders to keep plants on a weekly harvest schedule, report maintenance issues, etc
McGregors pays overtime on any hours over 40, however the goal is to work a typical 40 work week with the exception that you will be required to work every third weekend. On the weeks that you are scheduled to work a weekend it is expected that you will take off the following Tuesday and Wednesday to keep your hours at 40.
