Job Description:
- Spearhead multidimensional campaign planning and execution, spanning research, creative, media, community engagement, and evaluation;
- Work with senior staff to develop strategies for campaigns that address public health issues, like substance use prevention;
- Implement holistic behavior change strategies for clients that follow Rescue’s research recommendations and ladder back to client annual objectives;
- Work closely with Rescue’s Media teams to develop digital, social, traditional, and supporting channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement;
- Plan and manage experiential marketing strategies for the campaign, such as brand participation in competitions, events and concerts, amongst others;
- Be able to develop, manage, and implement local, regional, and statewide strategies and tactics simultaneously for this campaign;
- Oversee multidisciplinary planning, research, and evaluation campaign components and ensure client alignment in campaign measurement;
- Lead the execution of digital media amplifications that include immersive digital experiences that connect to various campaigns throughout the length of the campaign.
- Manage teams and foster expertise and mentor key client-facing team members;
- Oversee the execution of active account plans and deliverables;
- Oversee timely reporting on campaign progress to Rescue staff and client;
- Manage ongoing deliverables on a weekly basis;
- Track tasks and deliverables using project management tools (e.g. Teamwork, etc.);
- Create effective trafficking processes and workflow between Rescue’s media operations team, subcontractors, and media vendors;
- Manage and assist with the creative process for the development of new advertising campaigns;
- Communicate effectively with team members

- Oversee, manage, and communicate directly with clients daily – on-site often in Sacramento, CA;
- Address client concerns while ensuring that implemented strategies follow Rescue’s internal research recommendations;
- Provide reports on meetings with clients;
- Oversee client relationship and growth;
- Proactively work with supporting Account Management team to ensure client expectations are managed based on what they want in a specific deliverable and provide realistic timelines to complete any given deliverable;
- Manage spending and budget forecasts with client.
- Bachelor's Degree +7 years relevant experience OR 12 years relevant experience OR Master's Degree +5 years relevant experience
- Aptitude for detail-oriented work while keeping the big picture in mind.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow complex instructions as well as recognize potential problems and offer inventive solutions.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of pre and post production processes.
- Experience managing internal and external production teams and resources.
- Solid understanding of production companies and directors.
- Experience negotiating, evaluating, and managing large and small production budgets.
- Ability to manage complex schedules and timelines across multiple partners.
