Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Work with General Manager to develop, implement, and hold the team accountable to relevant KPIs with a focus on continuous improvement by helping draft weekly production reports and attending company meetings.
Operate, maintain, and make adjustments to extraction laboratory equipment such as extraction apparatus, falling film evaporators, rotavaps, distillation apparatus, pumps, scales, glassware and other laboratory equipment following current good practices and standard operating procedures.
Work with General Manager to plan and manage production schedules that effectively leverage capacity, labor and materials to meet volume, cost and quality goals.
Help maintain accountability and inventory of all supplies, raw materials, finished products and equipment by keeping reports, logs and records.
Supervise others and take full leadership of the laboratory when the General Manager is not present.
Lead the extraction team during second shift and perform all necessary functions to produce targeted materials.
Ensure that safety measures and compliance requirements are strictly followed.

BS/BA Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related field.
3-5 years related experience in process management/development in a pharmaceutical, dietary supplement manufacturing, or related industry.
Licensed cannabis manufacturing experience preferred, but not necessary.
This role requires an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and working independently in a structured environment with the ability to make decisions quickly on their own as well as within a team. Individual must be focused on safety, accuracy and detailed work.
